‘Dry’cleaning means cleaning without water. Unlike traditional laundry process which uses water as the primary solvent for cleansing, drycleaning involves cleaning of the fabric using oil-based solvents to remove dirt and stains, and giving your clothes a ‘like-new’ appearance. Cleaning with water or "wet" cleaning generally causes shrinkage and colour fading of garments whereas drycleaning solvents are way better than water in treating the oily deposits and at the same time keeping the size and colour of the fabric intact.
