Terms & Conditions

  1. Please check all the pockets of the garments before giving for processing as we shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage to items etc. left in the pockets.
  2. Practically it is not possible to note cuts, holes, scratches, stains and other unseen material defects at the time of booking the garments. If such defects are tracked during the process, the remarks of the Workshop Incharge shall be final and binding on the customer.
  3. Any cancellations must be made / notified to us before the garments are processed. No refund or cancel request shall be entertained post initiation of processing of garments.
  4. We shall not be responsible for any breakages of buttons, removal of pasted work, removal of stickers, embroidery fittings etc. while cleaning. We shall not be responsible for any manufacturing defect of the material in the garment.
  5. We undertake our best efforts to remove stains while preserving the base colour and work of the garments as a part of the process. However, complete removal of stains and preserving the colour and work of the garments cannot be guaranteed and shall be processed at the customer’s risk.
  6. While all reasonable care is taken, we are not liable for normal wear and tear, shrinkage, color fading, or texture changes due to manufacturing defect.
  7. We shall reserve the right to decline processing of any garment during booking or at any further processing stage.
  8. We shall not be responsible for any garment / article claimed after fifteen days from the date of booking.
  9. We do best to our efforts to deliver the garments / articles in time but due to some uncontrollable circumstances, if the delivery becomes late, the customer will not be entitled for any compensation or reduction in charges.
  10. The Customer shall count the garments / articles at the time of delivery and notify any discrepancy immediately as we cannot be held responsible for claims after the delivery is accepted.
  11. In case of any service issue after delivery of garments, the customer shall notify the same to us within 2-3 days from the delivery date. Any garment without the numbering tag or any claims after the stipulated time shall not be entertained.
  12. In case of any damage, we have the option of repairing the garment. In the event of non-traceable misdelivery or unrepairable loss / damage to any garment caused directly by our negligence, the customer would be compensated for 50% of the cost of the garment only, but the liability shall not exceed ten times of the processing charges in any case.
  13. Every claim will be decided after one month from the date of delivery.
  14. We shall not be responsible for delay or any loss / damage due to FORCE MAJEURE conditions or by burglary, house breaking or fire, etc. beyond conduct and we shall not be held liable for any compensation or reduction in charges, etc.
  15. If any dispute arises between us and the customer, then the Civil Court Udaipur will be the only Jurisdiction.
  16. We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Terms & Conditions

We, Moonlight Enterprises Private Limited (“Moonlight Drycleaners”, “moonlightdrycleaners.in”, “Company”, “Firm”, “we”, “us” and “our”), a company established and registered under the Companies Act, 1956 having its registered office at 7 Chetak Circle, Udaipur – 313001, Rajasthan, India, strive to offer the best quality services to our customers. However, sometimes, under uncontrolled circumstances, a slight deviation from the services offered usually arises and therefore, we look forward to our customers for their generous support, cooperation and understanding towards the following Terms & Conditions related to the services offered by us:-

The services offered by us to our customers will be subject to the following Terms & Conditions. Hence, you (“The Customer”) are requested to carefully read the Terms & Conditions mentioned below which has also been printed on the back side of the Booking Receipt at our Store:-

  1. We are not responsible for any garment claimed after fifteen days from the date of booking.
  2. Every effort is made to deliver the clothes in time but due to some uncontrollable circumstances the delivery becomes late and the customer will not be entitled for any compensation or reduction in charges.
  3. In the event of misdelivery or loss to any garment, it would be compensated for 50% of the cost of the cloth only but the liability would not exceed Rs.500/- in any case or receipt.
  4. In case of damage, we have the option of repairing the garment but the liability will not exceed 50% of the cost of cloth after deposit of the garment. (Stitching charges are not considered in claims).
  5. Every claim will be decided after one month from the date of delivery.
  6. No liability is accepted for delay. We are not responsible for any loss by burglary, house breaking or fire.
  7. The company shall not be responsible for any mishaps, breakages of buttons, etc., while clearing, we would not be held responsible for any manufacturing defect of the material in the garment.
  8. Please check all the pockets of the clothes before giving for dry-cleaning as the company shall not be responsible.
  9. Practically, it is not always possible to note cuts, holes, scratches and stains at the time of undertaking. If such defects are apparent during the process the remarks of the workshop in-charge will be final and binding on the customer.
  10. No guarantee for stain removal.
  11. No guarantee for jari and colour.
  12. Orders booked can be cancelled by customers prior to processing. If your order has been processed or is undergoing processing, we will not be able to cancel your order.
  13. If any dispute arises between the firm and the customer, then the civil court of Udaipur will be the only jurisdiction.
