1. Scope & Applicability

This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs all services provided by Moonlight Drycleaners (“we”, “us”, “our”) and shall be read in conjunction with our Terms & Conditions. By availing our services, the customer agrees to be bound by this Policy.

2. Cancellation Policy

• Orders may be cancelled only before the garments/articles are processed.
• Once the processing has commenced, no cancellation request shall be entertained.
• In case of eligible cancellation (i.e., before processing), any advance paid may be refunded after deducting applicable administrative or handling charges, if any.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds shall be considered only under the following circumstances:

(a) Service Not Rendered

• If garments are not processed due to our inability or refusal to undertake the service, any advance amount paid shall be refunded.

(b) Loss or Damage Due to Proven Negligence

• In case of non-traceable misdelivery, loss, or irreparable damage directly attributable to our negligence:
  • Compensation shall be limited to 50% of the garment’s cost.
  • However, the maximum liability shall not exceed ten (10) times the processing charges of that garment.

(c) Service Deficiency Claims

• If a customer is dissatisfied with the service, they must notify us within 2–3 days from the date of delivery.
• Claims without the original identification tag or made after the stipulated period shall not be entertained.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds shall not be provided in the following cases:

• Once garment processing has begun.
• Delay in delivery due to uncontrollable circumstances (including force majeure events).
• Issues arising from:
  • Pre-existing defects (cuts, holes, stains, etc.)
  • Manufacturing defects
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Shrinkage, colour fading, or texture changes
• Damage to embellishments such as buttons, embroidery, stickers, or pasted work during standard cleaning processes.
• Partial or complete stain removal not achieved despite best efforts.
• Garments not claimed within 15 days from booking date.
• Claims raised after delivery has been accepted without immediate verification.

5. Inspection & Claim Process

• Customers are required to:
  • Check garments at the time of delivery.
  • Report discrepancies immediately upon delivery.
• All claims shall be:
  • Evaluated internally.
  • Decided within 30 days from the date of delivery.
• The decision of Moonlight Drycleaners shall be final and binding, subject to applicable laws.

6. Mode of Refund

• Approved refunds shall be processed through:
  • Original payment method, or
  • Bank transfer / store credit, at our discretion.
• Refund timelines may vary but are generally processed within 7–10 working days after approval.

7. Right to Repair

• In case of damage, we reserve the right to repair or rectify the garment before offering any compensation.

8. Limitation of Liability

• Our liability is strictly limited as outlined above and, in our Terms & Conditions.
• Under no circumstances shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Force Majeure

• No refund or compensation shall be payable for delays or damages caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
  • Natural disasters
  • Fire, burglary
  • Government restrictions
  • Labor disruptions

10. Amendments

Moonlight Drycleaners reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time without prior notice. Updated policies will be published on our website.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Policy shall be governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
